The Legend
Sango was born in the Northern Fire Country to the Uchiha Clan. She was the daughter of the Uchiha Advisor, Uchiha Azuma, who was forced to marry the Clan Leader's eldest son. After the marriage, she organized the assassination of the Uchiha Clan's leader due to his peaceful views on society and unwilligness to become a war-bound clan. After the covert assassination of the Uchiha Clan leader, her husband rose to power where she began to manipulate him into turning the Uchiha Clan into a warrior clan. The introduction of Chakra gave the Uchiha the powerful Sharingan and she wanted to explore the power hidden within the mystical doujutsu.

At the age of 18, she convinced her husband to let her invade the Wind Country Clans. He allowed her to do this and she went on a quest with 300 other Uchiha to conquer the Wind Country effortlessly. The Wind Country Clans had no knowledge of the Sharingan so they had no way of knowing how to fight against it. At this time, Sango only had a 2-tomoe sharingan. After having found success in the complete annexation of the Wind Country, she returned to the Fire Country to ask for permission to take over the Lightning Country. Her husband didn't feel the need to annex another country and Sango killed her husband, finally unlocking the Mangekyou Sharingan.

After taking command of the Uchiha Clan, claiming her husband died of malady, she lead a larger army of Sharingan-wielding Uchiha to the Lightning Country in an extremely bloody campaign. Upon discovering the power of Amaterasu, she created a ring of black fire around each of the Clans and watched, starving them all to death.

Not long after her occupation of Lightning Country, the First Great Chakra War happened. She took defeat after defeat until she was driven to the border of Wind and Fire Country. Even through use of Susano'o, she was quickly defeated the Earth Country's 'Shadow Blades' and the war came to a close. She was brought to the Earth Country Clan's headquarters and had her Mangekyou Sharingan pulled out and then publicly executed.
